Francis Akachukwu Jr.
Francis Akachukwu Jr. believes that a legacy doesn’t need to be grand to be meaningful — it just needs to be built with intention. That conviction shapes everything he does, from the first-time buyer closing on a starter apartment to the seasoned investor expanding a multi-property portfolio. For Francis, every transaction is a brick in someone’s legacy, and there’s no greater fulfillment than helping people lay it.
Born in Chicago and raised for much of his childhood in Nigeria before returning to the U.S. in 1996, Francis brings a global perspective and a deep sense of cultural pride to his work. He has called New York City home since 2012, building his career across Manhattan and Brooklyn’s fast-moving housing markets.
Before founding Akachukwu Properties, Francis spent 21 years in sales, marketing, and management across multiple industries — operations, strategic planning, new business development, and client relationships. That foundation became the backbone of his real estate career, first as a licensed salesperson with The Corcoran Group, where he built a reputation for a 100% success rate closing deals at or above asking price, and later as founder of his own firm.
Today, Akachukwu Properties delivers residential sales, luxury rentals, property management, and strategic investment advisory to a diverse client base — from first-time homebuyers to sophisticated investors. The firm is built on the same values that have defined Francis’s entire career: transparent communication, data-driven market analysis, and personalized representation tailored to each client’s unique goals.
Clients consistently point to the same things — his responsiveness, his honesty, and his willingness to go the extra mile, whether that means coordinating with attorneys, negotiating on their behalf, or simply being available when it matters most.
Outside the office, Francis is a devoted husband and father who spends his free time exploring the city’s museums and parks with his sons, staying active through a fitness-driven lifestyle, and celebrating African cuisine and fashion — passions that keep him rooted in the culture that shaped him.
Whether you’re buying your first home, selling a property, or building a real estate portfolio, Francis brings the same philosophy to every client relationship: this isn’t just about a transaction — it’s about building something that lasts.
